(S)ORIT and (S)ORIT-PI evaporator pressure

The Sporlan Type (S)ORIT and (S)ORIT-PI evaporator regulating valves have a brass body and extended copper connections.  They are available with a range of adjustable settings and pressure tap. The primary function of these valves, referred to as EPR valves, is to prevent the evaporator pressure from falling below a predetermined value or setting. Each valve is factory tested to ensure positive leak-free performance.

• (S)ORIT has high side pilot for improved temperature control and low pressure drop
• (S)ORIT is normally open to allow system evacuation without a manual operator
• (S)ORIT-PI is internally piloted.  No need for high side pilot
• (S)ORIT-PI has optional electric open feature for “two temperature control”
• (S)ORIT-PI has manual llft stem to allow system evacuation
• (S)ORIT and (S)ORIT-PI – Range of adjustable settings up to 150 psi
• (S)ORIT and (S)ORIT-PI – Optional solenoid feature to close valve during defrost
• Design working pressure for the (S)ORIT valves is 450 psi (31 bar) and (S)ORIT-PI valves is 400 psi (27.6 bar)
